Argo gets the nod for USC Libraries Scripter Award
The film Argo continued to add to its accolades, taking home the USC Libraries Scripter Award on Feb. 9. Authors Joshuah Bearman and Antonio Mendez and screenwriter Chris Terrio were honored at the Doheny Memorial Library for their story of the 1979 rescue of six diplomats held in Iran.
She's fighting for women's place in skateboarding

Yet flip through any skateboarding magazine and the women on its pages are more likely to be wearing swimsuits than doing 360s. She's now sharing the untold story of women in the sport through the documentary Underexposed.
A selfless model of compassion

A USC Davis School of Gerontology alumna and graduate student at the USC School of Social Work, Hongo leads a mission to reach out to female inmates and heal their pain with hope.
