Motions concerned only with the proposed Aspecialized professoriate@ and fixed term renewable contracts summarized in Section III of the Committee=s report to the Senate, reaffirming the principle of tenure, reaffirming the terms Aclinical@ and Aadjunct,@ emphasizing that tenure and promotion are two separate processes, and proposing that the tenure system and the Handbook be changed to recognize and codify faculty title, position, and eligibility for consideration for tenure.
