Resolution 75-76-3.1(11/75)b
Salary Increases; Tuition
AThe committee also recommends that while each unit
should be encouraged to come up with internal savings, the raises to a given
unit be not determined by amounts of internal savings generated by that unit.
The committee recommends that faculty salaries not be tied to tuition. The
experience of this year clearly indicates that a committee on Employment and
Remuneration should start on planning for the 1977-78 academic year as soon as
feasible.@
