Based on recommendations in the Final Report of the Faculty Senate/Council of Deans Special Commission on Promotion and Tenure submitted to President Hubbard, the Faculty Handbook should be revised on page 24 to read, A...decisions on tenure will be reviewed annually after appointment. When the appointment is to the rank of Professor, the tenure decision will be determined within three years.@
