Deceased Faculty; Retirement Benefits;
University Administration Committee
That the University
Administration Committee develop a system that assures that representatives of
the estate of a faculty member who is deceased, totally disabled or retiring be
given, at the time of the occurrence, a statement of the insurance, tuition,
health, retirement and other benefits available. That an appropriate committee
of the Faculty Senate be responsible for reviewing this letter before its
issuance for the purpose of assuring that the family be accorded all benefits
to which it is entitled. Further, that the committee be requested to study
cases during the past four years relating to benefits of family=s of deceased faculty members.
