Board of Trustees; Cost of Living; Salary Increases

We call to the attention of the Board of Trustees our deep distress over the failure of the increase in faculty salaries at USC to keep pace with the increase in the cost of living, at a time when professional salaries in related fields have been rising significantly faster than the cost of living. The implications of this discrepancy for the long-term success and survival of the University are a cause for extreme concern.
