AAUP; Salary Increases; President=s Advisory Council

A resolution to be transmitted to the PAC Resource Management Planning Committee recommending that, A...the goal for increased compensation for continuing faculty be increased by 7%@ and A(1) That AAUP Category 1 ranking be maintained in all professional ranks, and that efforts be made to improve the ranking within each category. (2) That the maintenance of real economic income be given as much consideration as the Category 1 standing. (3) That the USC faculty compensation increase be tied clearly and fully to the United States Government wage and price guidelines...@ and, A(4) The Faculty Senate members of the Resource Management Planning Committee of the President=s Advisory Council shall be responsible for monitoring the recommendations and, in case of recommendation 3, insuring full compliance with United States Government requirements for tax relief.@
