Resolution 78-79-16

Board of Trustees; President=s Advisory Council; university budget

Whereas: The proposed USC budget was submitted by the administration to the Board of Trustees on February 14, 1979, and reflects none of this year=s Faculty Senate budgetary recommendations, all of which were endorsed by the President=s Advisory Council, Therefore be it resolved: That the Faculty Senate express dismay and frustration over its lack of impact on budget matters, and further express its lack of confidence in the budgetary process and judgement of the university administration. The Faculty Senate calls upon the Board of Trustees to reconsider this year=s budget and the Senate=s recommendations with respect to it.
