Governance Structure; President=s Advisory Council

Resolution recommending changes to the USC governance system, including restructuring the President=s Advisory Council to consist exclusively of representatives from the Executive Boards of the Faculty Senate, the Student Senate, the Staff Caucus, and the Executive Committee of the Dean=s Council, to discontinue the administration=s practice of referring actions from the four representative bodies to PAC in order for actions to be considered by the President and senior administrators, to specify that PAC committees be used only for purposes of coordination among the corresponding committees of the four representative bodies, and to ensure that Aany of the four representative bodies may transmit recommendations directly to the President who will respond to that body within 30 days.@
