Academic Deans; Appointment Process; Assessment

Since the Faculty Senate Standing Committee on University Administration has successfully completed the evaluation of Deans and Directors of a number of academic units of the university; and The faculty members of two units have adjudged their deans to be performing excellent service; and That excellence in all university endeavors should be recognized and encouraged; Therefore, the Academic Policy and Procedures Committee recommends that the Faculty Senate should give recognition to the outstanding performance of Dean Nelson and Loring by honoring them at a regular meeting of the Faculty Senate during which a certificate of distinction suitable for framing is given to them.
