Faculty Salaries; Health Insurance; President=s Advisory Council; Retirement Benefits

While the PAC Resource Management and Planning Committee endorsed every recommendation brought forth by the committee representatives of the Staff Caucus and Student Senate, it did not endorse two of the three recommendations made by the faculty representatives concerning the principles and methods of distributing increases in the teaching personnel salary pool and the proposal to provide supplementary health insurance for retired faculty and staff. This resolution rejects the report from the PAC Resource Management and Planning Committee and urges the faculty representatives to Amake the strongest possible effort to amend the report to include an endorsement by the Faculty Senate proposals pertaining to the allocation of [salary] increases....@
