Salary Increases; President Zumbuerge

(1) The Faculty Senate urges that the 9.5% increase in the Faculty Salary Pool in the 1981-82 Budget be used only for faculty salary increases. (2) The Senate urges that the faculty salary increases be a minimum of 9.5% for all academic units, and that any increase less than 10.3% be distributed as equal percentage increments Aacross-the-board.@ (3) The Faculty Senate urges that open, all-faculty meetings be held in the schools and divisions of the university to consider Faculty Senate salary recommendations of April 22, 1981, and the implementation of President Zumbuerge=s instructions concerning faculty salary procedures in his memo to deans and directors of April 7, 1981.
