Grievance Process
I Move That:
the Senate and its Executive Committee communicate to the University
Administration the urgent need to consider and make changes, as soon as
possible, in the total process involving faculty appeals and privileges,
regarding appointment to and discharge from the faculty. The changes to be
considered should aim to simplify and facilitate the appeals process, and
significantly shorten the length of time required for seeking redress.
