Animal Research; Research Modernization Act

A resolution expressing opposition to Los Angeles City Councilman Howard Finn=s motions to the City Council repealing the Pound Release Ordinance, making it illegal for scientific researchers to obtain animals from city operated animal shelters, preventing private citizens from selling animals for scientific research purposes, and supporting the Research Modernization Act pending before Congress.
