Grading Policy

The Academic Policy & Procedures Committee moves that the following statement be accepted: The official grading system at USC provides all of the following grades for students who have completed a course for academic credits: A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F. All of these grades are to be used as deemed appropriate in the judgement of the instructor. (This grading system is Aofficial.@ It is unnecessary and misleading to call it either Avoluntary@ or Amandatory.@
