Mandatory Participation; Retirement Benefits

That participation will be required in the basic retirement plan for all eligible faculty hired after July 1, 1982. This participation will be mandatory for all faculty being awarded tenure who are at least age 35 (deleted text: and for all staff employees after five years of service, who are at least 35 years of age.)
