Salary Increases; University Budget

Motion: The implementation of the policy of restoring faculty salaries to their 1972 constant dollar levels by 1992 should begin with the 1983-84 budget. (See Faculty Senate Resolution 82-83-8). Therefore Be It Resolved: That accepting the university=s assumption of a 5% inflation factor for the current calendar year, the faculty salary pool for 1983-84 should therefore be at least 6.5%.
