Resolution 83-84-13
Costs of Health Insurance
Whereas, major changes
resulting in substantially higher costs, with no increase in benefits, and
decreased flexibility for the insured, were instituted by the University in the
Aself-insured@ health plans offered to university employees, with
no Faculty Senate participation or consultation, and with insufficient
notification of the changes to those affected; Be It Resolved that such
procedures are inconsistent with a spirit of collegiality at USC and are
unacceptable to the faculty.
