Part B Moreover, the Senate urges the central administration to honor the commitment to increase the annual faculty salary pool over a ten-year period, beginning in 1982-83, sufficiently to offset increases in the consumer price index plus a full 1.5 percent annual increase in real income, and thereby recoup the loss in faculty real income during the proceeding year.
