Governance Structure; Organized Research Units

A detailed resolution recommending modifications to the PAC Research Committee revised recommendations regarding the structure and form of Organized Research Units. The intent of the revised policy is to establish guidelines for creating new ORU=s at USC; establishing guidelines for periodic review of the effectiveness of ORU=s; to establish administrative procedures and reporting procedures for ORU=s; and, to establish a framework which will regularize the University=s support of ORU=s.
