Cafeteria Plan; Health Insurance Plans

Whereas: The Faculty Environment Committee endorses the position taken by the Faculty Senate Executive Board with regards to the University Administration=s efforts to establish a cafeteria style benefit package; and Whereas: The Faculty Environment Committee opposes the inclusion in a cafeteria plan of any item whose costs or benefits are affected by the decision of individual participants not to choose this item; Therefore Be It Resolved: That there must be meaningful consultation with the Faculty Senate prior to the formation of a cafeteria style benefit package.
