Senate Bylaws; Voting
I Move That: The Faculty
Senate Bylaws, Rule 8, paragraph 3, be changed as follows: Each Senator will
cast one vote for each position on the ballot. When there are more than two
candidates for any one position, the candidate with the largest number of votes
will be declared elected, i.e., a plurality may decide the election. In the
event of a tie vote, election will be decided by the Faculty Senate at its May meeting
following the mail ballot.
