Resolution 86-87-22

Senate Bylaws; Voting

I Move That: The Faculty Senate Bylaws, Rule 8, paragraph 3, be changed as follows: Each Senator will cast one vote for each position on the ballot. When there are more than two candidates for any one position, the candidate with the largest number of votes will be declared elected, i.e., a plurality may decide the election. In the event of a tie vote, election will be decided by the Faculty Senate at its May meeting following the mail ballot.
