Alvin S. Rudisill

Alvin S. Rudisill, University Chaplain, we of the Faculty Senate, and on behalf of the faculty of the University, express our warmest thanks and appreciation to you. For the past twenty-five years, your leadership, contributions, dedication, and commitment have served as inspiration to us all. Many faculty members have been impressed and enriched by opportunities for better interaction with students which you have provided through your work with Project Fasten. Others have marvelled [sic] at your skills in working out solutions to human problems behind the scenes, as counselor and advisor. There is scarcely none among us who has not been keenly aware of the diversity and good effect of your activities and your person. Thanks, Al. Thanks for your talents, your energy, your good conscience, and your practical wisdom. The University has been a different and better place in which to live and work because of you, and we are in your debt.
