Merit Pay; Service
Whereas: The merit
evaluation process endeavors to measure multiple factors including faculty
involvement in University accomplishments, and since service and management are
key elements of performing numerous University functions, and such service is
often disregarded as unimportant in the merit review process, Therefore Be It
Resolved That: The services component of merit review be formally considered to
be a realistic, tangible and acceptable segment of the merit process.
