Sexual Harassment Policy

Whereas: For the reasons so clearly and eloquently set forth by Senate President Nancy Wood in her President=s Message, AHarassment: It=s More Than A Shame@ (Faculty Newsletter, February/March 1988), I Move That: The Faculty Senate Executive Board appoint an ad hoc committee to prepare a draft policy statement on harassment of faculty in any and all forms. This statement shall include, among other things, a definition of harassment, and due process measures to remedy instances of harassment of faculty in any form. The ad hoc committee shall make its report to the full Senate no later than the October, 1988 meeting.
