Resolution 88-89-06

Academic Duties; Public Service

Given faculty involvement in public service activities, this resolution recommends Athat the Faculty Senate establish a Task Force on Public Service , devoted to studying public service activities within the academic community@ and further, that Adepending on the findings of the aforementioned Task Force, the Senate and the University explore together mechanisms to implement evaluation and recognition of the service component of faculty activity.@ The Task Force will report back to the Senate in one year.
