Distinguished Teacher Award; Spitzer Profile

A resolution endorsing policies to improve the quality of teaching on campus. These include Asome tangible systematic, and progressive way@ to acknowledge and reward excellent teachers, teaching associated salary increases, travel funds for sabbaticals and other forms of time-off to improve teaching, designation of ADistinguished Teacher@ in recognition of excellent teachers, and Afuller implementation of the Spitzer profile to recognize the diversity of faculty workloads in teaching, research, and service.@
