Resolution 90-91-04
Health Sciences Campus; Parking Fees;
Tram Service
Whereas more and more
students, faculty and staff must commute for classes, meetings and other
activities between the University Park campus and the Health Sciences campus of
the University, Whereas the use of individual cars for such commutes would
greatly increase the need for additional parking, with no enhancement in
revenues, Whereas some students, faculty and staff who either car-pool or live
near campus may be prevented from attending classes, meeting or other
activities on the other campus, Therefore, be it resolved that the Faculty
Senate commends the University and the appropriate campus officers for
establishing a regular tram service between the University Park campus and the
Health Sciences campus, and urges that such a service be expanded to fully meet
the needs of faculty, students and staff on both campi.
