Resolution 88-89-01called for the University to establish a consolidated USC Self- Insured Health Plan exclusive of HMO=s. This resolution resolves that, USC consolidate the current non-HMO plans into a single risk pool, Awith 3 reimbursement and premium options: the USC Free-Choice-of-Provider option, the USC-Spousal option, and the USC-Managed-Care [Network] option@ and that Athe premiums for the various options under this single risk pool be based on differences in the amounts of reimbursement among the options.@
