Resolution 90-91-10

President Sample; Search Procedures

Whereas, the Board of Trustees has elected Steven B. Sample, Ph.D. as the tenth President of the University of Southern California, and, Whereas, such an appointment follows a process where faculty members and representatives from the Faculty Senate were actively engaged in the search process, and, Whereas, the process met the concern expressed by the Faculty Senate at its April 1990 meeting, and Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Faculty Senate wishes to express their deepest gratitude and recognition to all members of the 1990 Presidential Search Committee, and especially its faculty members, for their extraordinary efforts and for a job well done.
