Merit Pay; Review Process; Salary Compression
A resolution stating that Athe annual faculty merit review and evaluation
process be carried out as early as feasible in the Fall semester, and that (a)
chairs be required to provide timely performance recommendations and
market-based salary comparison information to their respective Dean/Director,
(b) Deans/Directors be required to provide similar information to the Provost
in the budgeting process, (c) the Provost provide feedback to the
Deans/Directors concerning the performance and salary information, and (d)
Deans/Directors provide feedback to the chairs, and the chairs to the faculty
about the assessments, their impact, and resolution.@
