Board of Trustees; Parking

Noting that Athe availability, financing, and cost of parking is a matter of concern to faculty, staff, and students,@ this resolution urges the University to ensure that all capital projects are following the policy adopted by the Board of Trustees that Athe cost of displaced and additional required parking@ is included with overall cost estimates, to alter the current policy of passing onto to users the cost of building and renovating parking structures and subsidizing ride sharing, to include faculty, staff, and students in the decision-making process, and to publicize decisions related to costs Aas soon as they are made as opposed to publicizing them at the time they go into effect.@
