A resolution to direct that agendas and discussions in full Senate meetings during the 1992-93 academic year focus on issues related to promoting academic excellence and faculty commitment to student learning, enhancing the resources and income available to the University through fund-raising, maintaining and strengthening funded research programs, and recruiting highly-qualified students, committing additional time and effort to existing or new programs devoted to the needs of the neighborhood, and increasing faculty participation in addressing University-wide problems.
