Sergiu Comissiona leads the Thornton Symphony in the Unfinished Symphony of Franz Schubert and Gustav Mahler’s transcendental Fourth Symphony, with soprano Elizabeth Hynes.

As part of the 2003 Arts Initiative's 6th Annual Festival of the Arts, Dean Robert A. Cutietta presents a lecture on "Changing Fashions: The Classical Music Perspective."

The lecture will be immediately followed by an 8 p.m. performance of the USC Thornton Symphony, Sergiu Comissiona, principal conductor.
