Thornton’s new music ensemble presents 'Four Dances in One Movement' by Danish composer Poul Ruder and Persian Folk Songs by Iranian American composer Reza Vali.

Under the direction of Donald Crockett since 1984, the USC Thornton Contemporary Music Ensemble has presented numerous world, national and regional premieres. Starting with the 1999/2000 season, the ensemble has been a regular participant in the Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music Group's prestigious Green Umbrella series.
