The students of the USC Thornton Studio/Jazz Guitar department present a musical variety act of funk, jazz, flamenco, and other popular styles.

Three innovative and energetic Thornton Studio/Jazz Guitar department groups - Superaxe, Wirechoir and the World Guitar Ensemble - perform.

Superaxe, a four guitar fusion ensemble, celebrates the cutting edge of studio music with arrangements transcribed by the ensemble members under the guidance of renowned guitarist Richard Smith.

Wirechoir, a five guitar (plus rhythm section) ensemble performs bebop compilations by celebrated guitarist Tony Rizzi.

Also appearing is the World Guitar Ensemble, a group that embraces styles of non-mainstream music from around the world.
