The USC Institute for Genetic Medicine hosts an exhibition of local artists who have immersed themselves in the Minhwa traditional folk art form under the tutelage of Mihwa Merrill and Jennifer Suh.

Due to popular demand, this exhibit has been extended through the end of May.

Minhwa Korean folk painting is an art form used to decorate functional items and spaces of the ordinary people.

A folk art form overflowing with strong, independent vitality, Its origin is the wall painting of the ancient Koguryo tombs.
