Paula McGee discusses what Title IX has meant to her career and Professor Michael Messner from the Sociology department will respond.

Title IX guarantees that "No person in the U.S. shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."

Paula McGee, a member of the USC National Championship Basketball Team in 1983 and 1984 discusses what Title IX meant to her career in high school, at USC, and beyond.

USC sociology professor Michael Messner,author of Taking the Field: Men, Women, and Sports will act as respondent.
