Admission: Free

USC Gin D. Wong, FAIA Conference Center (HAR)
University Park Campus

School of Archtiecture Professor Emeritus, Robert S. Harris, FAIA will discuss the power of architecture to create places worthy of our presence.

Professor Harris' lecture will focus on the idea that every architectural project is an intervention in the existing order and therefore a part of the continuing natural process of place-making.

Professor Harris came to USC in 1981. He served as the Dean until 1992 and as the Director of the Master of Architecture Program until last year. His teaching and research at USC has been primarily in urban architecture and design. He founded the four school interisciplinary program on urban neighborhood studies.
