The USC Career Planning & Placement Center will host its "Sports Marketing, Management & Medicine" panel.
This panel will be the first of four panels in the 2005-06 version of our "Careers In Entertainment & Sports" series which is intended to educate USC students about the variety of career opportunities within the fields of entertainment and sports.
The panel will specifically focus on the functional areas of marketing, management and medicine within sports.
The following six individuals are confirmed to participate:
- Blain Skinner, Executive Director, Corporate Sponsorships, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Sparks
- David Dunn, President & CEO, Athletes First (sports agent for Carson Palmer)
- David Siegel, Manager of Premium Sales and Services, Los Angeles Dodgers
- Dr. Michael Mellman, Team Physician, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Kings
- Joann Klonowski, sports marketing and events consultant
- Steve Lopes, Senior Associate Athletic Director, USC Athletics
The event will be held in the Heritage Hall Auditorium from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
