The "Four Level Interchange" (1954)
Opened in 1954, the "Four-Level Interchange" was the first high-speed freeway interchange int he world. The crossing of the Hollywood and Harbor Freeways, it is the central "intersection" of the entire metropolis, standing, appropriately enough, just a few blocks from City Hall
