TCC A v/s TCC B, April 12, 1996 at Cromwell Athletics Field

Result: TCC B defeated TCC A by 8 wkts.


Report:

TCC A were put into trouble early on by some accurate bowling by Karthik
and some ferocious bowling by Harish. From 27 for 5, Ashish and Srinath
rallied TCC A into a decent position. Some good running by Khan helped
TCC A's cause further. But the bulk  of the runs came off wides and no-balls,
in the end amounting to 43 runs, almost half of TCC A's score of 94 in 16 overs.
Bharath's comeback to Friday night cricket was delightful and he bowled very
well.

TCC B were off to a flying start, the best start that we have ever seen in
Friday night cricket. Tarlos and Anoop were in the middle with their
guns blazing and they hit all over the ground. But once Anoop retired and
Tarlos got out, some tight bowling by Puneet and Rashid gave TCC B some
concerns. It looked as if we were in for a tight finish. However, with 
15 runs to get in 21 balls, Ashwin practically finished the game with two
massive back-to-back sixes over midwicket.
