TCC A v/s TCC B, April 19, 1996 at Cromwell Athletics Field Result: TCC B defeated TCC A Report: Ashish and Atul Raj started well for TCC A but a middle order collapse put the brakes on their scoring. However, TCC B could not capitalise on this because of the huge number of extras given away, in the end amounting to a record breaking 59 runs, including 37 wides. However, the total score of 106 in 20 overs was mediocre. For TCC B, Anoop began in flamboyant fashion but Kedar and Karthik struck in quick succession to put them in trouble. Ashwin and Srinath repaired the innings with some patient batting. Finally, the large number of extras conceded by TCC A(40 runs) coupled with some breathtaking strokeplay by Alex saw TCC B through with more than a couple of overs to spare.
