INTRODUCTION

Since 1986 I have been working in the field of adult/alternative education in Malawi, Central Africa, Wisconsin and India. Most recently, I was working with two grassroots women's organizations in Gujarat, India, training the women in photography.

My experience overseas has given me the opportunity to get to know a bit about the cultures where I lived. Through the following photographs I hope to share some of this knowledge with you through the following photographs.
