For the first time in the history of the newsreel, a TELENEWS Brief from the early 1960s was censored by the US Government. This newsreel - recently declassified and obtained by the REU Project - covered the famous Nixon and Khruschev newsconference, as well as what was meant to be a top-secret Congressional investigation of failed ICMB tests at the Nevada Test Site.
