In addition to its book holdings, Rare Books and Manuscripts maintains approximately 200 collections of manuscripts, correspondence, archives, and artifacts. Because many of these materials  are located in an off-site storage facility, it is recommended that requests be made a day before visiting Rare Books and Manuscripts.
