Oakwood Memorial Park
The cemetery, located at 22601 Lassen Street in Chatsworth, has been used
as a burial site since sometime in the nineteenth century, beginning with
its use as an Indian burial ground.
The Old Stagecoach Trail bisects the cemetery, and rock for the Los
Angeles harbor breakwater was quarried here.
In 1965 the Chatsworth First Methodist Church was moved to Oakwood, and
one room is devoted to displaying artifacts from the history of
Chatsworth.
