- How do I access Marshall Electronic Resources from home?
Most of the resources available through Marshall’s Electronic Resources require you to use a USC network connection to gain access. There are several ways to do this from home. For more information click here.
- What's the password for the _____ database?
Rather than managing passwords for our wide range of electronic resources, USC uses IP authentication to verify that you are an authorized user of these resources. This means that you must be using a USC network connection to get access. There are no passwords available for Marshall Electronic Resources. The exception to this is OneSource Business Browser, which all graduate students receive a password for during their first semester. Marshall undergraduates may use OneSource in the libraries, where a staff member will log them in.

All of USC’s libraries' holdings can be searched online through Homer, the online catalog, which can be accessed from any Internet connection. Searches can be limited to the Business or Accounting libraries as well as limited to just periodical titles.
- Can I renew my books without visiting the library?
Yes! Connect to Homer, and click on User Services at the top of the page. Enter your library barcode and PIN. (This is different from the PIN you use for registration. If you haven't used this before, you will be asked to establish a PIN.) You can then renew books as well as generate a list of your current checked out books and see any messages sent to you by the libraries.
- How do I find out if a journal article is available fulltext online?
There is a searchable index of journal titles that are available in fulltext in one or more of USC's electronic resources.
