Overview
- The Science & Engineering Library provides physical and electronic information resources, individual and collaborative study spaces, and assistance in identifying, accessing and evaluating information to support learning and research in the life sciences, earth sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and engineering. For Health Sciences resources, consult the Norris Medical Library.

Journals
Over 90% of the science and engineering journal subscriptions are currently acquired in electronic format making the content available to members of the USC community anytime, any place via the USC Libraries' electronic resources list. When possible, backfiles covering previous years are also included. Current titles and older volumes available only in print format are shelved alphabetically on the 2nd floor.Once accessible electronically most older volumes are stored in the Grand Avenue Library and may be paged via HOMER, USC's online catalog, and delivered to the Science & Engineering Circulation Desk (choose Science & Engineering on the pull-down paging request menu).
Books
A 2,000 volume reference collection, available on the 1st floor, supplements an extensive array of electronic reference resources. Many recent publications from major publishers are being acquired in electronic format. E-books and reference tools can be found by search HOMER and the USC Libraries' electronic resources list.
Newly received print titles are featured in the new book nook to the right of the entrance. Over 80,000 books are shelved on the 3rd floor, with many less used titles available for paging from the Grand Avenue Library.
