Research Assistance

Libarians are available for in-person research assistance during regularly scheduled hours at the reference desk located in Doheny Memorial Library's Los Angeles Times Reference Room and at many branch libraries. You can also use the Ask-a-Librarian electronic reference service to get help via phone, e-mail, or online chat and instant messaging.


Non-Research Questions

Answers to frequently asked questions (e.g., Library hours, PIN numbers) can be found at our FAQ page. Questions dealing with specific circulation concerns (e.g., renewals, fines) are best handled by the Doheny Library Circulation Desk, which you can reach at (213) 740-2924 or dmlnotes@usc.edu.
